Recently，short messages bee more and more popular with both the young and the old.People accept the convenient way of munication and some even cannot live without them.
As to the easons why so many people are in favour of the short messages，in my opinion，there're three points.First， it can save time if you want to inform your friends of something in one or two words by sending a short message.By parison with letters or email，short messages are really more quick for others to receive you as the mobile phones are always with them.Second，short messages cost less than making a phone call.Third，people who are not very familiar with each other can chat by short messages more easily，through which more and more people can know of others and bee friends.
However，nothing that is perfect exists in the world.Short messages also have some disadvantages with them.Some people cheat or fool others by telling them that they have won some prizes through short messages.Also，taking advantage of people's ignorance，some websites charge a good deal of expenses form short messages.
Above all，short message is product of the hitech nowadays.It will serve us very well if we make proper and full use of it.

The main advantage of mobile phones is that people can use them anytime and anywhere，so they can use one for an emergency.in addition，people can access the internet whenever they use the mobile phones，so business people can use tem at work to get information from internet more convenietly Moreover，it is very easy to send messages to your friends.Mobile phones can make people keep intimacy in spite of long distance.Mobile phones are turning the world into a small vilage where we can mmunicate with each other easily and simply.Finally，another point in favour of mobile phonesis that you can avoid disturbing anyone when he is sleeping orworking because in that case people often turn off their mobile phones.
On the other hand，there are some drawbacks，too.Firstly，the most important disadvantage is the unknown effects on health in case of over—use.Scientists found that mobile phones can cause brain cancer.if you talk for so many hours，you are going to have headacheand ear problems.Secondly，the mobile phone stimulate home for the high cost of munication.If you are in 3 membered family，you would spend a lot of money on mobile phone.Because tow to three of family have it， it cost about 150—200D in a month.Furthermore，the inappropriate use of mobile phones could be bothersome.for example，it is very imppropriate to here a mobile phone ringing during a formal conversation，during a lesson，in a libraryor in a cinema.Finally，mobile phones waste people too much time.An Amerian survey show that the teen—ager will spend average 2 hours to send messagesevery day.
In conclusion， there are some benefits and drawbacks to mobile phones.personally，i dont like mobile phonesvery much，but i need use them.In my opion， mobile phones are good only if you use them correctly and politely，as in this case，all technology is beneficial！

Being a product of high—technology，mobile phones are being more and more widely used. It's small in size， light in weight and easy to carry， offering fast and convenient service for munication.It's of multi—function. The users use it for calling， sending short messages and internet—surfing.
In recent years， mobile phones have bee popular among middle school students. Quite a few use them at school to keep in touch with their families and friends instead of writing letters， which， of course brings convenience to them. But I don't think it's good to do so.
