烤茄子是一道土耳其菜肴，它是用橄榄油烹制茄子，并加入洋葱、大蒜、西红柿做成的，可在室温下享用。?mam bay?ld?翻译过来就是“伊玛目昏倒了”，意思是这道菜太美味了，以至于清真寺的领拜师伊玛目一看到并尝到这道菜就昏倒了。

?mam bay?ld? is a Turkish dish made from eggplant cooked with olive oil and filled with onions, garlic, and tomatoes and served at room temperature. It translates as the “imam swooned,” suggesting that the dish was so delicious that the imam, or prayer leader of the mosque, fainted at the sight and taste of it.

另一个知名的土耳其茄子菜是炖肉配烟熏茄子泥 Hünkar Be?endi ，这个原版名字太难记了，还好它有个别称叫“苏丹的喜悦” Sultan’s Delight
苏丹也就是以前奥斯曼帝国皇帝的称谓，所以感觉这道菜也能翻译成“乐皇上”？
那前面那道“伊玛目晕了”好像能翻译成“土耳其佛跳墙” 。

Hunkar Be?endi也被称为苏丹的喜悦，这道菜是用慢炖的嫩牛肉配上烟熏的茄子泥做成的。这确实是一道配得上苏丹的菜。

它看起来和意大利披萨很不一样，是做成船型的，把丰富的馅料锁在里面。

土耳其披萨有大有小，大的会被横切成好几段来吃。
Pide是我到达土耳其后吃到的第一种食物，人们亲切地称之为土耳其披萨。它是用稍微厚一点的美味面包做成的，上面撒着五香肉末、蔬菜和/或奶酪。有时它像普通的披萨一样被端上餐桌，有时它被裹起来，就像玉米粉蒸肉一样。不管怎样，它既美味又便宜！大多数餐馆都有这种披萨，但我觉得特色面包店里的最新鲜。
